Libyan writer and political figure Ahmed Tehami stated that the release of deepfake videos just hours before the announcement of the advisory committee’s outcomes was a deliberate attempt to sabotage the process.
He accused media outlets affiliated with outgoing Prime Minister Abdulhamid Dbeibah of orchestrating the campaign to derail the committee’s efforts.
