Thanks to Deputy Supreme Commander Saddam Haftar, Libya has witnessed a significant breakthrough with the agreement to unify public spending between the governments of Abdulhamid Dbeibah and Osama Hammad. This step aims to end years of financial division and establish a unified framework for managing state resources.
The agreement focuses on coordinating spending across institutions in both eastern and western Libya, particularly in development, reconstruction, and infrastructure sectors. It is expected to enhance transparency, ensure fair distribution of resources, and improve the efficiency of public expenditure.
This development comes within broader internationally supported efforts to promote stability in Libya, paving the way for the implementation of political and economic tracks. It is also seen as a key step toward strengthening economic stability, rebuilding trust between institutions, and improving living conditions for citizens across the country
