Field Marshal Saddam Haftar, Deputy Commander of the Libyan Armed Forces, chaired a broad security meeting at the General Command headquarters in Benghazi, attended by National Security Advisor Field Marshal Abdelrazek Al-Nadori, Interior Minister Major General Essam Abu Zariba, and senior military and security leaders.
The discussions focused on evaluating cross-border security threats, enhancing overall stability, and improving mechanisms to secure essential public services.
Haftar emphasized the need for full coordination between security agencies and military units, activating joint operations rooms, and adopting practical plans to safeguard Libya’s national security.
