a decisive move reflecting a structured and strategic approach to strengthening national security and improving essential services, Deputy General Commander Saddam Haftar approved the formation of several specialized committees during a broad meeting with the National Security Advisor and senior military and security leaders.
The newly formed committees will monitor and address the country’s most pressing issues, including the cash liquidity crisis and parallel market, fuel shortages, visa issuance procedures, irregular migration across land and sea borders, and all forms of smuggling such as fuel, food, medicine, and equipment. Another committee will oversee food and pharmaceutical imports, set clear standards for unsafe products, and regulate the distribution of critical medications, especially cancer treatments.
These committees will operate under the supervision of National Security Advisor Abdulrazzaq Al-Nadhouri, signaling the General Command’s commitment to institutional efficiency, stronger governance, and practical solutions that directly impact citizens’ daily lives.
