In accordance with the directives of Major General Saddam Khalifa Haftar, Commander of the Libyan Army’s Ground Forces, the Murada Combat Unit has been tasked with protecting Al-Harouj Nature Reserve from ongoing illegal hunting activities.
These violations pose a serious threat to endangered species and contradict all official bans on hunting in protected areas.
The unit called for strict enforcement measures to preserve Libya’s natural heritage and reaffirmed its commitment to safeguarding national wildlife resources.
