The Sabal Al-Salam Battalion, under the Libyan Army’s Ground Forces Command, announced the rescue of over 85 undocumented Sudanese migrants—men, women, and children—who had been abandoned by human traffickers in the deep desert, approximately 100 kilometers south of Jabal al-‘Uwaynat. The group had gone without food or water for eight days before being found.
