Following prior directives from the Commander of the Libyan Army’s Ground Forces, General Saddam Haftar, the Committee for the Reorganization of the South carried out a strategic operation in the Umm Al-Aranib area, targeting two major fuel smuggling hubs.
The operation resulted in the seizure of large quantities of gasoline and diesel, the confiscation of smuggling vehicles, and the complete dismantling of the sites.
This action is part of a broader effort, directed by the General Command, to eliminate smuggling networks in the south and ensure that fuel reaches those who truly need it.
