A working meeting was held on Thursday, August 7, 2025, at the headquarters of the National Oil Corporation (NOC) in Tripoli, bringing together Dr. Ali Mahmoud Hassan, Chairman and CEO of the Libyan Investment Authority (LIA), and Engineer Masoud Suleiman Moussa, Chairman of the NOC.
The two sides discussed ways to support and develop a number of joint strategic oil projects, including the Gulf of Sirte, Ghadames Basin, and Al-Hamada Al-Hamra project. The meeting emphasized the importance of these projects in boosting oil production and enhancing Libya’s economic revenues.
This meeting comes as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen integration between the investment and energy sectors, aiming to optimize the use of national resources in line with sustainable development goals and to reinforce Libya’s position in global energy markets.
