On the instructions of Field Marshal Khalifa Haftar, the Libyan Armed Forces slaughtered 100 camels and 50 cows and distributed the meat to Sudanese refugees in the city of Kufra as part of an Eid al-Adha humanitarian initiative.
The effort was overseen by the Special Tasks Battalion “Subl al-Salam” under the Army’s General Staff, in coordination with the Illegal Immigration Department and local officials, including the acting mayor of Kufra and the head of the Sudanese community.
