On the occasion of the 85th anniversary of the founding of the Libyan National Army, and in line with the Commander-in-Chief’s Vision 2030 to develop and enhance the overall performance of the armed forces, Field Marshal Khalifa Abu Al-Qasim Haftar has appointed General Saddam Khalifa Haftar as Deputy General Commander of the Libyan Arab Armed Forces.
The Commander-in-Chief announced that this appointment will be followed by several important assignments in the coming days aimed at strengthening the military’s leadership structure and boosting its operational capabilities.
